The Old English Sheepdog

My ‘breed’ and first love is the Old English Sheepdog – followed closely of course by the Irish Water Spaniel.

As an OES breed specialist and ANKC judge of 4 groups, I am keen to know that future owners, exhibitors and judges of the breed understand the Old English Sheepdog – how it is made and why.

Articles published here will aim to give some understanding of the Old English Sheepdog’s character, heritage and construction.

Watch this page in the future for articles on the Old English Sheepdog.

Meanwhile, if you have questions about the breed, or would like to know about dog shows or showing the breed, please send queries through the website’s Contact Form.  Any answers dealt with will be used on this page for the education of readers.

Cheers, Krissy – OES Breed Specialist Judge and ANKC Judge of Groups 1,2,5,7
